What do you think will be the most important development next year?

As you know, Synthedia is compiling our first-ever predictions article. If you’d like to make a prediction to be included in our article, please submit it asap. Our observation is that Synthedia readers are among the most insightful industry observers, so we should solicit your input on any prognostication activity.

• What will happen with large language models and applications such as ChatGPT?

• Will challengers such as You.com pose a competitive threat to Google and OpenAI?

• How broadly with DALL-E, Stable Diffusion, and Midjourney be adopted?

• Will deepfake technology be employed outside of entertainment?

• Will voice clones become so good that they are indistinguishable from humans?

• What new innovation will crop up in 2023?

We hope people will consider these ideas and others in your submissions. It’s the dawning of a new industry shifting from incubation to real-world impact.
