As you probably know, we put a lot of effort into providing you with unique insights, information, and data in every Synthedia post. We also augment that effort with events like Synthedia online conferences that provide access to industry innovators. Our team would prefer to keep this newsletter free for users, so to help cover our expenses, Synthedia is now offering three ways to support us. We have two types of sponsorships for businesses, and we are also activating Substack’s subscription capabilities.
How to Support Synthedia
To be clear, we are not gating Synthedia at this time. You will still receive your daily generative AI update whether you engage in a paid subscription or not. However, if you get a lot of value out of Synthedia and can personally or through your company expenses support our work, Eric, Andrew, and I would greatly appreciate it. Also, we will begin to offer additional perqs to subscribers in the coming months.
Individual Subscriber Options
Free Subscribers - Nothing changes. You get Synthedia delivered daily to your inbox (for now 😀). This may change in the future, but not in the near term. In the meantime, help us out by spreading the word about Synthedia or subscribe for free if you are new here.
Paid Subscribers - You will receive Synthedia delivered daily to your inbox. I will also do a shoutout as a thank you on social media and in the newsletter, and we are working on some added benefits for you in the future. Some of these are likely to include market data that is not published publicly, a monthly startup funding tracker, inside industry information, and other useful data points. More to come on this.
Founding Members - When you decide to move to a paid subscription, you can subscribe at the standard monthly price or become a founding member. There is a box that enables you to enter an amount higher than the standard subscription price to provide more support to our work. We appreciate any support you can offer and will have special perqs for founding members tied to their contribution amount.
Current Voice Insider Subscribers - If you are currently a Voice Insider subscriber, please reach out to me directly. You are eligible for a free subscription for yourself or as a gift.
Corporate Sponsorships
For companies that would like to support our work and gain visibility to our community of generative AI and conversational AI industry leaders and corporate buyers, we also offer a sponsorship that includes listing your company logo and a URL link to your company landing page.
In terms of reach, we have over 50,000 60,000+ monthly post views and more than 500,000 between August 2022 and October 2023. It is a high-value audience, and you get the benefit of this pricing even as the audience reach grows. Your placement will be for all posts, but these sponsorships are limited.
Synthedia Super Hero (limit 12) [$125 monthly or $1500 annual purchase] - Your company logo will be included in each Synthedia Post (in a format similar to the image at the top of the page), and a URL link will be included separately to your company’s main domain. You will also receive two individual email subscriptions to the newsletter.
In addition, if you make an annual commitment up front, we will provide a call-out box in two separate articles annually where you can include a 50-word summary of a product or about your company (content requires approval by Synthedia at our discretion).
Synthedia Hero (limit 6) [$80 monthly or $960 annual purchase] - Your company logo will be included in each Synthedia Post, and we will provide a URL link to your company’s main domain, similar to but separate from the Super Hero listings above. You will also receive one individual email subscription to the newsletter.
In addition, if you make an annual commitment up front, we will provide a call-out box in one article annually where you can include a 50-word summary of a product or about your company (content requires approval by Synthedia at our discretion).
Thank You For Your Support
I know there are different viewpoints about including company sponsorships in independent publications. However, my experience is that these often enhance coverage and information sharing and do not undermine it. It is also an effective way for companies to voice their support for industry analysis and research, enabling us to do more work for the entire community.
Let me know if you have any questions, and please sign up for a subscription or make a contribution of any amount you think is appropriate. It will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
