Great write-up! I searched your first prompt with Bing AI and was actually pretty disappointed in its reply compared to what you got with Perplexity. It seems as though Perplexity went with more academic/professional sources than Bing. Iāve used perplexity occasionally and liked it but think I will start using it more, especially for creative tasks.
I donāt know if itās just me but for the first prompt you did I liked the response of the older GPT model than GPT-4. GPT-4 had a long list but some of it was redundant. I was really surprised I liked the older modelās response better.
Perplexity vs. Bing Chat: I personally used Perplexity for about half of all of my searches. Maybe 25% Google and 25% Bing Chat. Perplexity seems a bit faster and on point for more specific searches.
ChatGPT with 3.5 vs 4.0 - I can see why you would say that. It is a bit cleaner, more compact and easily understood. Still, some good additional ideas in 4.
